Registration is open for the student-organized UC Davis Plant Sciences Symposium, an annual event which brings together researchers in academia, industry, and the nonprofit sector to discuss the latest advances in the field of plant sciences.

Call for abstracts: graduate students and postdoctoral researchers are invited to submit poster abstracts on their plant science-related research. Four outstanding abstracts will be selected for a 20-minute oral presentation. Submit your abstracts by March 15 here: http://plantsciencesymposium.ucdavis.edu/abstracts.html
Travel grants: we are pleased to offer four $500-travel grants for researchers outside of the Davis area to attend and present at the symposium. To apply, submit your abstract and register by February 28.
