Plant Breeding Center Field Trip: Genome and Biomedical Sciences Facility, UC Davis

As part of the Plant Breeding Center’s monthly field trip series, participants will visit the UC Davis Genome and Biomedical Sciences Facility on Wednesday, April 18, from 4 to 5 p.m. The group will meet in the lobby of the Genome and Biomedical Sciences Facility building (451 Health Science Drive, Davis, Calif.; this is on the west side of the UC Davis campus; campus map).

The tour will include several Cores, including the DNA Technologies, Expression Analysis, TILLING, Bioinformatics, and Metabolomics Cores. Please arrive at or before 4:00 p.m. sharp because it will be difficult to locate the tour group once it begins.

The PBC Field Trip Series is a monthly event, on the third Wednesday afternoon of each month during the academic year. Participants on the field trips include graduate students and researchers, with some people from the seed industry and elsewhere. The Plant Breeding Center is part of the Dept. of Plant Sciences at UC Davis.
