Guest speaker: Tim Sawbridge on Microbiomes

Tim Sawbridge is visiting from La Trobe University. He will be presenting "Pasture and Crop Plant Microbiome Research at Agriculture Victoria, Australia." 

This presentation includes two of Sawbridge's projects. His first project examines the microbiomes of several forage species' seeds and identifies the advantages these microbes could provide to plants. His second project evaluates the transcriptome of the rhizosphere in ryegrass pastures across soil types and locations. 

Sawbridge is a senior research fellow in School of Applied Systems Biology.
